Video game expo NOT coming to Dallas Convention Center in November 2009
DALLAS The Southwest Video Game Expo, originally slated to come to the Dallas Convention Center on November 20-22, has been postponed, "due to economic reasons".
"The management deeply regrets that the expo in Texas will not be happening in 2009 as we had planned," said Expo spokesman Don Jennings. "A poor economy mixed with a large number of other expos for publishers to attend has meant our show didn’t perform the way we had hoped it would. We still hope someday to bring a large event like this to the Southwest, and are determined that it will be worth the wait."
