UPDATED: Dates announced for 2009 Dallas Video Festival
That's it. That's all. Just the dates. (So far.)
If you love independent films of the alternative and non-commercial variety - in other words, creatively-produced, artistically-rendered film fare - then you might want to take note of the dates for this year's 22nd annual Dallas Video Festival (a.k.a. VideoFest).
Those dates are Nov. 5 - 8, at the Dallas Angelika.
TA DAAA!
(Well, that's about all we can tell you just now, because details of the programming are yet to be announced. But in case you do your planning this far in advance, we figured you'd like to mark your calendars now to avoid scheduling conflicts with other events. Such as that slow-boat cruise off the coast of Somalia you've been thinking about.)
UPDATE: the dates specified above have been corrected to reflect the - ah - actual correct ones, per first comment below.
The pirates depicted, however, remain not of the Caribbean and are correctly identified as such.
