Gaylord profits in Q1 despite travel industry downturn
Gaylord Entertainment Co., owner of the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, reported a net income of $3.4 million in Q1. While occupancy is lower, often conventions are scheduled years in advance and the Nashville based hotel chain still acquires fees from cancellations.
