When the Heath City Council meets Tuesday evening (May 5) at 7 p.m. in City Hall, they'll first introduce the latest proud new graduates of the Public Safety Citizens Academy: Karen Cosby, Tom Cosby and Doug Jacobson. The recognitions will be announced by Public Safety Officer Brian Burton.

Next on the council agenda will be the presentation of a recognition certificate from the Texas Energy Conservation Office and the Texas Energy Partnership, courtesy of Lee Horvath.

There'll be an update on the city's financial report prior to the public hearing portion of the agenda, which will address:

* the proposed annexation by the City of Heath of about 294 acres along FM 740 adjacent to Heart Stone Estates

* some code-based development agreement issues relating to property owned by Richard and Cynthia Becker

* some similar issues relating to property owned by Brad and Jennifer Lamberth

* developer's agreement stuff pertaining to Woodbridge Creek Estates

* discussion surrounding the wastewater treatment service contract with the Cities of Rockwall and McLendon-Chisholm

* discussion about the options for future Texas Dept. of Transportation improvements to FM 740, and to the intersection of 740, 549 and 550

* discussion and action regarding the welcome sign
