Kennedale ISD closes due to swine flu
The Kennedale Independent School District held an emergency meeting Monday night to discuss Swine Flu in Tarrant County.
The Tarrant County Health Department released information Monday afternoon about one probable case in Delaney Elementary. That sample is waiting confirmation from the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta.
There are two more suspected cases in the Kennedale ISD.
The school board voted, reluctantly, to close down the entire district until Monday, May 11th.
Gary Dugger said the administration office will more than likely remain open until 12 each day during the shut down.
