Arlington municipal facility closes for something totally unrelated to swine flu
not provided by City of Arlington
The floor plan of the library will look nothing like this when renovations are completed. (Unfortunately.)
For reasons totally unrelated to swine flu, Arlington's Northeast Branch Library (1905 Brown Blvd.) will shutter its doors temporarily starting on Monday, May 11 and extending through Wednesday, May 27.
The reason: renovations, including new carpet, paint, service desks and computer furniture. The floor plan for materials (i.e., books, periodicals and etc.) will also be updated.
In addition to drawing on bond funding approved by Arlington voters, the project (whose total value will run around $175,000) also benefits to the tune of $10,000 from a private donation made by an Arlington resident.
Visit the Arlington Public Library website for further details, or call 817-459-6900.
