Woman robs Fort Worth convenience store for her grandkids (she says)

Trigger's hairline appears to be receding somewhat. (Or is it just me?)
Trigger's hairline appears to be receding somewhat. (Or is it just me?)

Warning that her gun had a "hairline trigger," a woman clad in pajamas and house shoes robbed a Fort Worth convenience store (at 1840 Eastchase Pkwy.) early Friday morning (May 8), demanding money from the till along with a carton of smokes and two cigarillos.

The chatty bandit went on to explain to the clerk that she was doing this for her grandkids - presumably referring to the money part of the heist, as opposed to the tobacco items.

The robber is described as a light-complected black woman, 40 to 50 years of age, about 5 1/2 feet tall and 175 pounds. Anyone with information about the crime should contact the Fort Worth Police Department's robbery unit at 817-392-4370.

(Also, drop me a line if you know what a "hairline trigger" might be...)
