Dallas researchers given grant to find swine flu vaccine
Researchers at the Baylor Institute for Immunology in Dallas have received a $14 million grant from the National Institutes of Health in order to try and create a vaccine for the dreaded swine flu H1N1 virus. The researchers are aiming for a vaccine that would be a cure after one contracts the virus, instead of a preventative shot. They're also trying to come up with a better detection system for the virus.
