Texas Senate votes to ban most trans fats

A bill that would ban trans fats in Texas restaurants was passed by the Texas Senate Friday, but that doesn't mean Texan will be safe from the evil fat just yet.
Exemptions to the ban include bakery items such as cakes and pies, and pretty much anything fried you'd be served at places like the Texas State Fair. But if you don't like sweet stuff or fried stuff, you'll be in the clear.
