2009 McKinney City Council and Mayoral election results

After weeks of campaigning, forums and meetings, the 6,468 residents of McKinney have spoken. Brian Loughmiller will become the next Mayor for the city, defeating opponent, George Fuller. Loughmiller won slightly more than 60% of the vote.

Curtis Rath and Gilda Garza lost out to David Brooks, who received 64% of the votes for the City Council At-Large seat, while Don Day was the winner of the City Council District 1 position, beating out Alonzo Tutson, Maurice Malvern and Randall Wilder.

For the record, Travis Ussery, who ran unopposed for City Council District 3, received 602 votes.
