Dallas Independent School District high school students will be honored by the Dallas Bar Association (DBA) and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) during end of the year banquets on Tuesday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 13, at 4:30 p.m., in the Belo Mansion.

The students who will attend the banquets participate in the E-Mentoring, Esq. Program, sponsored by the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Students who participate in the E-Mentoring, Esq. program are members of the Advancement Via Independent Determination (AVID) program.

Students from the high schools H. Grady Spruce, W.W. Samuell, and Moises E. Molina, will be attending the banquet on Tuesday, May 12. The keynote speaker will be the President of Paul Quinn College, Michael Sorrell. The banquet for students from South Oak Cliff High School, Hillcrest High School, and Woodrow Wilson High School will be on Wednesday, May 13. The keynote speaker will be Ed Stewart, assistant commissioner of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Big 12 Conference.
