Photo gallery: Coppell Family Fish
Mother’s Day weekend brought a special treat to the youngsters in Coppell – Family Fish.
Families came out in droves this past Saturday (May 9) to enjoy the outdoors and fish for the biggest fish they could catch!
Not only could kids fish in the pond at Andy Brown East, they also had the opportunity to try their luck with the “catch tank.” Filled with 200 pounds of large catfish, families were able to stand around the tank and, hopefully, catch a “big one.”
For those families who didn’t have their own fishing equipment, Arlington-based Texas Junior Anglers provided it for them.
Once the event was over, the fish from the tank were released into the pond.
Family Fish is over, but it’s never too late to gather up the family and head down to the park and enjoy a morning of fishing!
