City of Burleson to host Youth Summit
The City of Burleson is hosting a Youth Summit on Wednesday, May 20, at the Burleson High School cafeteria.
The cafeteria will be open 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. The whole family is welcome. Those who attend are encouraged to fill out a quick survey detailing what they want to see in the city of Burleson. This is a come-and-go event with activities, and free food, for parents and children from six to 24 years old.
The summit will also include information about the City’s new Teen Court program, the Mayor’s Youth Council, the Burleson Public Library’s free summer reading program, the Burleson Opportunity Fund scholarship program and how to reconnect students with nature.
