On Wednesday evening, May 13 at 7:30 p.m., the Dallas Center for Architecture (DCFA) will present Bird's Nest - Herzog & de Meuron in China.
The film is an 88-minute documentary about Swiss architects Christoph Schaub and Michael Schindhelm as they work to construct the National Stadium in Beijing, and a far different - and vaster - project in the city of Jinhua.
The show will go on at the Dallas Center for Architecture, 1909 Woodall Rodgers Fwy. (Ste. 100). Cost: a $10 donation to the DCFA, which includes complimentary refreshments.
