Dallas ISD to host Chefology 101 class
The Dallas Independent School District Food and Child Nutrition Services Department will host Chefology 101, a one-week culinary education program, from July 27 through July 31.
The culinary summer camp is open to Dallas ISD high school students in grades 10 through 12 who express an interest in culinary arts.
Enrollment is now open. Interested students may apply online on the Web site.
The Chefology curriculum is developed and taught by partnering chefs from Le Cordon Bleu and Dallas ISD's Food and Child Nutrition Services Registered Dietitians. During the week, students will learn cooking techniques, basic nutrition, aspects of menu planning, recipe development and banquet service.
The culinary camp will be held at the Maria Luna Food Services Facility, 1515 Grand Ave.
