The Dallas Mavericks ended their season tonight with the 124-110 loss in Denver. The Nuggets have not been to the Western conference finals in 24 years but practically slid into them this year, going 4-1 in the series against Dallas.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 32 points with 10 rebounds, while Jason Kidd scored 19 and assisted on 9. Carmelo Anthony scored 30 and Chauncey Billups scored 28 with 12 assists and seven rebounds to take themselves one step closer to the NBA finals. The Nuggets await the conclusion of the Lakers vs. Rockets semifinal, in which L.A. is up 3-2 in the series.
