Wine, wine, wine, plus more farmers markets and the big-ticket Taste of the Nation Dallas.

Landmark Winery Tasting with proprietor Mary T. Calhoun Thursday May 14

You get to hang out in the West Village. You get to meet Landmark Winery proprietor Mary T. Calhoun. You get to taste chardonnay, syrah, and pinot noir. You get discounts on the bottles: 10% off one bottle, 20% off three or more. You can get Mary to autograph any bottle you buy. But the BEST thing about this: It costs $10.

Crescent Spring Celebration Thursday May 14 at Crescent Court Thursday May 14

Party at the Crescent Court with samplings both food and wine, a Wrought Iron Chef competition, fashions by Stanley Korshak, mini spa experiences, Crescent specialty cocktails, and an array of silent auction items (including American Airlines getaway trips to Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, shopping sprees and unique sports memorabilia).

Farmers Market Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Farmers markets are all the rage, so why shouldn't Allen residents get one too? At Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm.

"Back To The Future: Then and Now" Wine Tasting Friday May 15

Real oenophile event here, with Pappas Bros.' favorite wines that have been cellared many years side-by-side with recent vintages. $45 per person plus tax and gratuity. A $25 dining voucher will be given to each guest for redemption in restaurant after the tasting.

21st Annual Taste of the Nation Dallas Sunday May 17

The nation's premier culinary benefit, featuring top chefs and mixologists. The event is limited to 200 guests, so you'd better get your $500 ticket now! That gets you four courses with wine from restaurants such as Abacus, Bijoux, Charlie Palmer at the Joule, and Craft, plus cocktail reception, luxury gift bag, entertainment, and a silent and live auction featuring one-of-a-kind trips, wine, culinary experiences and more.

A Trip Along the Loire Wine Dinner - Monday, May 18 at Toulouse Cafe

Who doesn't love the Loire? It's only the longest river in France, of course. Especially when it involves dishes such as asparagus flan, rabbit blanquette, and strawberry rhubarb tart. Oui oui.
