Sigel’s neon sign in Dallas to go up in Addison

6

The '50s-style neon sign that marked the now-defunct location of Sigel's Fine Wines and Great Spirits store at Lemmon and Inwood in Dallas will be moved to Addison after the Addison City Council gave an exception to the Sigel's location there. The sign didn't meet Addison's (hee) pole standards, but they approved the sign because of its historical significance.

How ironic....and yet irony is for one who finds such..I had taken pictures of this sign months ago,.. so Travis Rex Bush could do a fill me in thing and... whoop..the sign is now gone....while it made more sense on location, then where it will be soon replanted for the next 45 years.....A/T,.. SOME SIGNS WONT ADD UP...plugged in or unplugged at all.

Good riddance. I lived blocks away from this decrepit 50's era sign that was rusted and falling apart.

Maybe Addison will demand at least a good clean before they install it some place others may appreciate it.
