Chrysler plans to close nearly a dozen North Texas dealerships
Nationwide, Chrysler is closing about 25% of dealerships, or 789 of its 3,200 total. 11 dealerships in North Texas are slated for closure, including Preston Chrysler Jeep in Dallas and Frank Kent Dodge in Fort Worth. Chrysler blames low sales numbers for the need to downsize, admitting that 90% of the company's nationwide sales come from just 50% of its dealerships.
