Dead calf dumping scofflaw strikes Fort Worth U-Haul store
On Thursday night, May 14, the manager of a U-Haul store in the 6900 block of Anderson Blvd. in Fort Worth observed as a man in a maroon Ford F-150 backed into the dead-end street next to his place of business and dropped the tailgate to reveal a dead calf.
Which he (the pickup driver) proceeded to dump on the side of the road, even as the astounded store manager protested. (The manager then followed the guy through three municipalities before giving up the chase, since police were not in evidence.)
The site is apparently often used as an illegal dumping ground, but this incident more or less takes the (beef)cake.
