New 24 Hour Fitness opens at Horne and I-30 in Fort Worth
Hardly news to most in DFW, the opening of a new 24 Hour Fitness is a big deal for members in the Camp Bowie/Ridglea area of Fort Worth. An employee indicated that the new club, located near Horne and I-30, opened its doors Friday morning at 6 a.m. By 10 a.m., an inadvertent drive-by showed the lot already filled with several cars.
Floor Plan for new Fort Worth 24 Hour Fitness
PDFPreviously, people who lived just north of 183 and the southwest corner of the 820 loop had to battle traffic in the Hulen mall/Bryant Irvin area to go workout, making a short drive distance-wise take as long as 20 minutes or more. At peak times, the club located on Overton Ridge had two full lots, with car spillover happening all along the adjacent streets.
The new club is two-story "Sport" facility, with a full free weights area on the first floor and cardio equipment on the second. It also has a full basketball court, indoor lap pool, sauna, steam room, and whirlpool, with two areas for group exercise and cycling, as well as a kids club.

Great to hear this! The best gym is the one on your way home from work. DFW is a nice place filled with active people, but the traffic can be prohibiting. Convenience is a great way to increase satisfaction amongst your customers/exercisers.
