Texas house says teens shouldn’t be phoning and driving

Looks like the Texas House of Representatives is moving forward on legislation that would ban kids younger than 18 from driving and using a cell phone at the same time - even if it's a hands-free conversation.

Which begs the question: are people over the age of 18 any better at driving while distracted by phone conversations? In my experience: no.

I'd cite a study that shows that hands-free cellphones don't make a difference in distraction, but I'm too lazy to find it.

Well if you'd stop posting to Peg in traffic on your iPhone you'd have provided a link to it.
