Construction crew working at new Dallas convention center hotel site busts water main
DALLAS A construction crew was clearing land at the site of the new Dallas convention center hotel when they hit a water main, causing water to gush up to 50 feet high for two hours on Monday morning -- not unlike the taxpayer dollars that will be required to gush forth to fund this thing. Zing!
Hmmm, wonder if the site is, like, doomed or haunted now. Ooky spooky! I hope they don't find any dead bodies or pagan burial sites or a cache of tainted pirate booty. OK, that's a lie, I secretly hope they do find that stuff.
Repair was estimated to take six to eight hours.
