Veganarchist veteran punk band Propagandhi plays The Door (Dallas) this Wednesday
Propagandhi, the indie, angry punker's go-to influential Facebook mention, are coming to The Door (Dallas) this Wednesday, May 20.

Propagandhi - The Beaver (guitar), Chris Hannah (guitar, vocals), Jord Samolesky (drums, back vocals), Todd Kowalski (bass, vocals)
Known most prominently for what some would describe as anarchist punk, the Winnepeg, Manitoba band has been around with one lineup or another since 1986. In 1992, Propagandhi were signed to Fat Wreck Chords, a label owned by Fat Mike of the legendary NoFX, and later started their own, G7 Welcoming Committee. In 2006, the group became a four-piece for the first time.
The band is touring in support of their fifth full-length album, Supporting Caste, released in March 2009. The album bemoans pretty much everything the band has long been known to hate, at one point even advocating the slaughter of "post-vegan" punk rockers.
Propagandhi share the bill with Bridge and Tunnel from New York and Saboteur from Dallas. This is technically a Prophet Bar show in the big room, so there will be drink served. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $16 presale and $18 at the door... the door of The Door.
