Penne Pomodoro opens branch in former Kitchen 1924 space in Dallas’ Lakewood district
DALLAS Dallas restaurant legend Alberto Lombardi and his family opened their latest eatery last night: a new outpost of the family’s Penne Pomodoro restaurant in the Lakewood Shopping Center (in the space that was previously Kitchen 1924).
It is the third Dallas location for Penne Pomodoro.
Lombardi opened the first Penne Pomodoro in Snider Plaza in 2003 followed by the Preston/Forest location in 2004.
Lombardi says, “Lakewood is such a family oriented neighborhood that I felt it would make an ideal location for Penne Pomodoro and because my daughters and I all live in Lakewood, I wanted to be part of its business community as well.”
Penne Pomodoro features an exciting menu of various pastas, pizzas as well as delicious entrees. Executive Chef Carlo Allesina has created a wide variety of traditional desserts including house-made gelato.
Penne Pomodoro / Lakewood is located in the Lakewood Shopping Center. For more information, please call 214-826-6075.
