2009 National Geographic Bee winner hails from The Colony
Ah, that Timis County.
Eric Yang, a seventh grader at Griffin Middle School in The Colony, won the 2009 National Geographic Bee Wednesday. Yang won by correctly answering that Timis County was in Romania, beating out 55 contestants (but only two girls!) from around the country.
You sure that's not in Texas? We've got plenty of 'em.
