DART, Fort Worth’s T looking for private funding for Cotton Belt Line
DART and The T in Fort Worth, in an effort to speed along construction of the proposed Cotton Belt Line that would stretch from Fort Worth to Plano, are seeking the help of private companies. One proposal would have the private companies construct and run the line until 2027, when both DART and The T would have enough money to take over the operation.
While I'm for anything makes it easier to commute out of Plano, I'll only believe this one when I see it.
