Fort Worth offers free trolley service with cutesy name for trial period this summer
FORT WORTH Fort Worth is offering "Downtown Get Around", a free trolley service throughout the downtown area this summer on a trial basis. They gave it a cute name: Molly. As in Molly the Trolley.
Designed to reduce congestion, improve air quality, and so on, the trolley will link the north and south ends of downtown, and will run from May 27 to August 22, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. They'll keep it going after that only if they get enough riders this summer. So you vill please ride der trolley.
Molly the Trolley, I dunno. They coulda gone for so much more. They coulda hit animal lovers with Collie the Trolley, or maybe Indian film-o-philes with Bollywood the Trolley, or why not country music fans with Dolly the Trolley, or tourists with Golly the Trolley, or Christmas nuts with Holly the Trolley, or parrot lovers with Polly the Trolley.
