Dallas city leaders get behind World No Tobacco Day
The World Health Organization says we'd all be better off without our smokes.
World No Tobacco Day
- Sun
- May
- 31st
- Everywhere
- Price not available
- Age limit: N/A
Sunday, May 31 marks the 21st annual observance of World No Tobacco Day, as sponsored by the World Health Organization.
With an unsurprising nod to political correctness (and health-conscious common sense), the City of Dallas (through their leadership) has expressed its support of the initiative, which this year will focus on really scarifying images of the dangerous effects of smoking.
(All this, even as some local joints seem to be benefiting from a grace period/loophole relating to the indoor smoking ban...)
