— The Texas Rangers took another game in the Lone Star Series Saturday night, defeating the Astros 6-3 in Houston. The win improved Texas to 25-17 on the year.

Rangers starter Scott Feldman continued to impress in the win, going nearly seven innings and allowing just three runs on five hits. Feldman, who walked two and struck out five, improved to 3-0 on the season with a 4.04 ERA.

After Darren O'Day and Eddie Guardado held the Astros in the seventh and eighth innings, C.J. Wilson pitched a scoreless ninth for his third save of the season.

The Rangers big hits mostly came from one man, outfielder Nelson Cruz. Cruz, who was batting in the cleanup spot for the first time all season, hit a pair of home runs and drove in four RBI on the night: a three-run blast in the fourth that put Texas ahead for good, and a solo shot in the sixth right before Hank Blalock belted a solo shot of his own.
