Speed limit on stretch of Highway 121 in Grapevine is up in the air
The northbound lanes of the Highway 121 tollway between Grapevine Mills Mall and Coppell have no posted speed limit, leading to confusion over how fast vehicles are allowed to go and anger over tickets issued by Grapevine police. Southbound lanes have a posted speed limit of 70 mph, but officials say that without posted signs, motorists in northbound lanes should stay at 60 mph.

John McClelland, says:
Except that when the toll lanes in Denton County had no posted signs, we were told we could do 70 mph (which is also now the current posted speed limit).
If there is no posted speed limit, wouldn't you go by the last sign you saw anyway?

Does that mean it's the law? Or do they mean that in the same sense that I "should" eat plenty of vegetables?
