Cool news from the Video Association of Dallas:
For those who would LOVE to see the films in competition but can't work an evening trip to the Angelika into their schedules, here's a way to see them anyway: buy the compilation on DVD (or Blu-Ray).
24-Hour Video Race Finalist Screenings
- When: Wednesday, June 3, 2009, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Where: Angelika Film Center & Cafe (Dallas), 5321 East Mockingbird Lane, Dallas
- Cost: $3 - $5
- Age limit: Not available
Pre-sale orders are being accepted now through the Video Race website at a cost of $20 for the DVD or $30 for the Blu-Ray, with Paypal and credit cards as purchase options.
After the compilations are produced and delivered to pre-purchasers, remaining sets will be sold (through the website) for $25 and $35, respectively.
DON'T FORGET that Video Race preliminary screenings continue tonight (Thursday, May 28) and tomorrow at the Dallas Angelika, with showtimes starting at 6 p.m. Tickets run $5 for adults, $3 for kids under 12.
The finals screen next Wednesday (June 3).
