Panties of many Richardson parents wad up after school choir performance includes Mexican national anthem
At a Greenwood Hills Elementary choir performance last week, students opened with three songs: "Texas Our Texas," "The Star-Spangled Banner," and the Mexican national anthem.
After a number of complaints and a blog post on the DMN, the school apologized this week. Officials said the song was included to honor the heritage of the school's Hispanic students, but that the placement at the top of the program was, perhaps, a poor decision.

I think they must be peeved that the program left out the anthems of France and Spain.
Jury is still out on Dixie.
It's all about inclusion right? Then include.

People whine too much on the non-important things, yet they dont show up to parent/teacher or school board meetings when something serious is occuring with their kid or their education. Another case of messed up priorities on the side of people who should'nt be having kids in the first place....

After all, I'm sure Mexican schools play the Star Spangled Banner every chance they get.
And how long has it been since you hummed along to the anthem of OUR neighbor to the north.
