“Birds, mocking” terrorize Dallas Police HQ

Dallas Police are discovering that two of their biggest critics live right outside their front door. While they (the critics) don't have much to say, they are venting their frustrations through physical action.

Namely, divebombing.

The aggrieved parties are a pair of mockingbirds, who've been swooping and pecking at officers (or anyone else) as they leave or enter the premises.

I've seen this kind of behavior in my own back yard (usually exercised against the cats), but never so reliably or on cue. It must be the high traffic environment that's turning these guys into real hellions.
