Kincaid’s makes list of sumthin-sumthin burgers compiled by Gourmet magazine
Gourmet magazine included Kincaid’s on a list of top 20 something-or-other hamburgers in the United States in the June issue.
The article, "20 Burgers to Eat Before It’s Too Late," (? too late for what) acclaims Kincaid’s burger as a “lean and lovely charred half-pound burger, served with lettuce, tomato, and condiments inside a capacious bun.”
“To be named one of the best hamburgers in the nation by Gourmet is a terrific honor,” Ron Gentry, Kincaid’s president and owner said. “We take great pride in our burgers, and we cut and grind our meat fresh daily. It’s all in the meat.”
Kincaid’s, which officially opened its doors in 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas, now has five locations across Dallas/Fort Worth with plans to open three more locations in Texas by fall of 2010.

Weird that it makes a national list of top 20 burgers. It actually doesn't crack my top 10 in the Metroplex alone, though I've only had one. Maybe they were having a bad day.
