Polytechnic High in Fort Worth may get reprieve following TAKS results
The school was on the verge of being shut down if it had received another academically unacceptable rating.
Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth is likely to remain open after initial results show that the school will receive an academically acceptable rating following the latest TAKS tests. The school was on the verge of being shut down if it had received another academically unacceptable rating. This also means that the idea of opening gender-based academies is now likely off the table.
