Dallas Cowboys 38, Seattle Seahawks 17
ARLINGTON The Dallas Cowboys pounded the vastly inferior Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon at the new Cowboys Stadium, winning 38-17 for their third straight victory. The win, Dallas' fourth in their last five games, improved the Cowboys to 5-2 on the season, tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for first place in the NFC East.
After going down 3-0 early in the first quarter, the Cowboys systematically marched down the field and scored on Sam Hurd's 36 yard catch-and-run in which several Seattle defenders tackled each other -- and from that point on, the Cowboys never looked back. Behind the new and improved Tony Romo (21-of-36 for 256 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions), Dallas was able to march down the field at will on the Seahawks, while Dallas' defense limited the Seattle offense to just 17 points, some of which came in garbage time after the Cowboys had gone up 38-10.
Romo hit ten different receivers, including Miles Austin (5 catches, 61 yards), who caught a touchdown for the third straight week. Patrick Crayton had a punt return for a touchdown for the second straight week, and Romo avoided throwing an interception for a third straight game, a career high.
The Cowboys' next opponent is the Philadelphia Eagles, who destroyed the NY Giants earlier in the day to claim a share of the NFC East lead.

Thank god Bobbi Carpenter has stopped pulling on the love handles connected to Toni Romo's head. No headache means the ball is thrown straight. Those ears get stretched any more and our dearest Toni is going to be staring in a Disney animation movie.
