A Honey of a Deal & Co.
Find gift items, clothes, shoes, and accessories here.
CARROLLTON Carrollton is one of those cities that has maintained its old-time downtown feel. The square attracts people from all parts of Dallas-Fort Worth for entertainment, food, and shopping. All the stores there are worth visiting, so if you’re looking for something to do on the weekend, downtown Carrollton is a great place to start.
Honey of a Deal and Co., 1106 S. Elm
Many boutiques cater to just one age group or certain kinds of people, and A Honey of a Deal is one of them. Although it caters to women, they carry gifts suitable for everyone. The store carries everything from potpourri to clothes to jewelry. This shop is a great place to do Christmas shopping for your mother, sister, or friends. But spend wisely; this shop is pricey.
Silver Star Mercantile Co., 1102 W. Main Street
This is definitely a must-see store. If you’re going to spend your Saturday on the square in Carrollton, Silver Star is a place that you shouldn’t pass up. It is a salon and an antique shop with a unique blend of shampoo and souvenirs all in one. The displays showcase Texas and American patriotism. Upon entering, the store is warm and welcoming; it's probably catered more to the older crowd but is enjoyable for everyone.

The Old Craft Store
The Old Craft Store is a cutesy quilting shop.
The Old Craft Store , 1110 W. Main Street
Michael’s, Recollection, and other fancy craft stores don’t compare to this quilting store. It offers patterns, samples, fabric, and all the other materials necessary to create a work of art. Throughout the store are quilts hanging on the walls with the quilter's name, pattern, prices, size, and title. They also offer classes for people who would like to learn to quilt.
Vintage Martini, 1014 S. Broadway
If you like vintage dresses and accessories, this is the store for you. Each piece has its own story, placed carefully in a section of the store by their vintage year. The colorful dresses could double as Halloween costumes or even everyday vintage wear. Vintage Martini also sells cards, hand soap, candles, and books. The store is delicately organized -- so much so, that you might not want to touch anything! Women of all ages could enjoy this store.

Went to the downtown for the 1st time during Santa Fe Days. It's a nice little spot. Nothing fancy but it's a good change from the strip malls.
