New exotic pepper producer debuts on Dallas website EatGreenDFW.com

4

Jeff Carter, a second-generation farmer from Corsicana, plans to begin offering his exotic peppers in the EatGreenDFW.com online store in the next few weeks.

Jeff's interest in exotic peppers was piqued while he was on his honeymoon in Spain when he ordered his first plate of Pimentos de Pedro. "I was hooked," he says. You can read his story here and find more about the kinds of peppers he raises.

They're from places like Spain, Italy, Hungary, Japan, India, Slovenia, etc., have names like Red Guindilla (pictured above), Beso di Satana, Shishito, Kurtorska, Kil Sirzi Tabli. etc., and range from sweet to hotter than hot. He'll be happy to explain the difference. Drop him a line or stop by the Milestone Farmers Market, Sunday November 15. He plans on being there.

I misread "exotic" as "erotic."

I don't remember the last time I felt this disappointed.
