Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza in Irving to host charity bags tournament on Saturday

0

Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza in Irving has partnered with The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and Custom Cornhole Connection to host its first Bags Tournament on Saturday. Boston’s will provide an event-filled day for players and restaurant guests.

The tournament will start at 11 a.m. and last all day. There is a $30 registration fee for a 2-person team, or $15 registration fee for individuals. Entry fees are tax-deductible, as proceeds will be donated to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC).

Sharon Goldammer, co-president, DFW Chapter of the NOCC, is proud to partner with Boston’s. “Having organizations such as Boston’s Pizza and Custom Cornhole Connection help the NOCC in raising awareness about ovarian cancer is very exciting. These organizations are truly helping to make a difference on this important issue,” she said.

Teams are encouraged to register early online at texascornhole.web.officelive.com. Same day registration will also be available prior to the tournament start. The top three teams will receive a cash prize, along with a Boston’s gift card. There will also be door prize drawings throughout the day, food and drink specials, and an appearance by Boston the Bulldog. Door prizes include two Dallas Mavericks ticket packages, shopping and dining gift cards and other specialty items.
