Dallas Cowboys 20, Philadelphia Eagles 16
The Dallas Cowboys finally won a road game over a quality opponent Sunday night, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 20-16 in Philadelphia. The win was the fourth straight for Dallas, which improved them to 6-2 and gave them sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

The Eagles' defense, pictured, didn't seem as intimidating as last season's squad.
The Eagles fell one game back of Dallas at 5-3, and the NY Giants continued their Manning-assisted freefall with their fourth straight loss.
The game was a hard-fought battle that came down to the final quarter. With the score tied at 13-all midway through the fourth quarter, Dallas went ahead for good when quarterback Tony Romo hit up-and-coming star receiver Miles Austin for a 49-yard touchdown. The touchdown was the seventh for Austin, and his only catch of the game.
The Eagles were able to drive down the field and had a chance at the 4 1/2-minute mark to go for the game-tying touchdown, but opted for the field goal and never touched the ball the rest of the game.
Romo finished 21-of-34 for 307 yards, the touchdown to Austin and one interception, his first in four games. Romo's leading receiver was Roy Williams, who seemed to put a half-season of missed routes and dropped passes behind him with a five catch, 75 yard performance.
The Cowboys were able to run the ball somewhat effectively but opted to pass far more often, ending up with just 76 rushing yards on 23 attempts. The team was also penalized 11 times for 70 yards in losses.
The Cowboys' next game is at 4-4 Green Bay, against a Packers team which has struggled this season.
