Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches coming to Lower Greenville in Dallas

5

Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches will open a store on Lowest Greenville Avenue in the former Blarney Stone space within the next few months.

Sources at Madison Partners tell BD the contract was signed a few weeks ago, and no date for construction/renovation/exorcising the old space has been set. The Blarney Stone closed up shop in late 2006, citing financial reasons for not being able to make the rent.

According to their website, Jimmy Johns was founded in 1983, and focuses on fresh everything - bread, meat, spreads, etc - and a slightly off the wall positive customer service attitude. They currently have nearly 20 locations in the North Texas area, the closest being on Hillcrest near SMU. Sounds like a good time for a roadtrip?

Jimmy John's closest competition - in distance and product - is the Subway Sandwich Shop just across the street.

Details as we get them...
