Upcoming Denton concerts - November 13-14
DENTON Hidden Cameras -- Friday, November 13 at Hailey's
The Hidden Cameras make it down to Denton all the way from their home in Toronto in support of their latest album Origin:Orphan, which was released this past September to much critical acclaim. They are a somewhat experimental indie pop group whose live performances often include over-the-top and exciting features such as go go dancers and full choirs. Below is one of the most beautiful music videos you will ever see featuring one of the band's earliest releases called "A Miracle."
Also playing is another fine Canadian band called Gentleman Reg who will compliment the headliners perfectly. Opening the show is the outstanding Dallas group The O's who were featured in an Artist Spotlight earlier this year.
Max Cady -- Friday, November 13 at Dan's Silver Leaf
Max Cady is commonly regarded and celebrated as one of Dallas' best hard rock groups. They have been nominated in two consecutive Dallas Music Awards for Best Hard Rock Acts, and for good reason. If you are looking for a good musical ass whooping, look no further than the Max Cady show at Dan's Silver Leaf this Friday.
Also playing is Jade Idols and one of my favorite bands from Austin called The Jungle Rockers. They are a throwback to old school rock and roll and are just incredibly catchy. Check them out below.
March of The Bull -- Saturday, November 14 at The Boiler Room
Saturday night, March of the Bull headlines at The Boiler Room. They are a fast-paced Texas rock band with explosive guitars and an intense live show only found in Texas bands such as At The Drive In and Fair to Midland. Every song reveals another piece of a puzzle, so listen closely, you might learn something.
Also playing is another very very good local band called Redefine. This is going to be a solid rock show for your Saturday night. Highly recommended!
Enjoy a video from the headliners.
