Argentinian restaurant Don Panza changing name and address in Dallas’ Bishop Arts

4

Don Panza, the quaint Argentinian restaurant that recently moved to the Bishop Arts District, is re-opening in another space across the street and changing its name, says co-owner Carolina Rivarola.

The restaurant will be called La Carreta Argentina, and is opening in the space formerly occupied by Alley Oops, which closed in June.

"We are working on remodeling, it's going to be ready in 3-4 weeks," Rivarola says.

The restaurant has always been known for its Argentinian-style empanadas.

"The menu will be the same, but we'll add some homemade pastas and Argentinian dishes," Rivarola says. "We're going to keep doing the empanadas but we'll pare down the number of options to focus on the best sellers."
