FC Dallas player Kyla Davies recovering from successful hernia surgery
Bet that was really painful.
FRISCO FC Dallas defender Kyle Davies underwent successful hernia surgery on November 6. Recovery will take 2-3 months, but he is expected to be ready when the team returns for the 2010 season. He will spend his off season doing rehab both at home in Danville, Calif. and with the FC Dallas team medical staff.
Davies started 10 of the 11 games in which he appeared in this season after signing with FC Dallas on April 28 via trade with Real Salt Lake. He was called up by the U.S. U-20 national team to play in two group matches of the U-20 World Cup tournament in Egypt in September.
FC Dallas opens its 2010 home slate with in-state rival Houston March 27, 2010 at Pizza Hut Park.
