Photo gallery: Mrs. Seuss and the Grinch-themed Ice! attraction at Gaylord Texan
My oh my, Mrs. Seuss fits right in. She looks just like a Who herself.

GRAPEVINE The Grinch won't steal Christmas this year with a holiday attraction like this. The Gaylord Texan's yearly Ice! attraction this time features a How the Grinch Stole Christmas! theme, complete with ice-carved Whos from Whoville.
Our photographer Jamie Walzel called the event "magical." The room is kept at 9 degrees as attendees wrap themselves in large coats to traipse through the several-room exhibit. Included in the experience are giant staircases made of ice and four slides to shimmy down. Nearly everything you see in these photos is made of carved ice.
Telling the group how these zany stories came about was Dr. Seuss' wife, Audrey Geisel. You can see her peeking in the side of the first photo at the right; it's as if she's a Who herself. "She's just a joy to be around," Walzel said.
The same evening, the hotel switched on the Christmas lights on their 50-foot tree.
