Next Step Dance Studio coming to Frisco Square
The studio will have five rooms.
FRISCO Frisco Square announced that The Next Step Dance LLC has leased 7,554 square feet at 6106 Frisco Square Blvd. in Frisco Square for a dance studio.
Jim Leslie, the managing partner at Frisco Square stated, “We are delighted that Next Step Dance is moving to Frisco Square. Their new location, right across from Simpson Plaza, is a wonderful place to bring the excitement, interest, and visibility that comes with dance classes. Their new studio will be a great addition to Frisco Square.”
Michelle Stafford, owner/director of Next Step Dance, plans that the new studio will include five state-of-the-art dance rooms with professional flooring and audio/visual equipment. The new location offers many amenities for the parents who bring their children to dance: They can enjoy the great restaurants, shopping, and services offered at Frisco Square.
Next Step Dance offers ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, drill, and Bollywood classes for the recreational student starting at age 3, along with several night classes for adults plus Pilates, yoga, and ballroom. Next Step also has a competitive performing company and hip hop crew that have won numerous awards including the 2008 Showbiz Nationals “Championship Award.” Next Step holds a recital every year to showcase the recreational students and the performing company. This year, their recital was held in June at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.
“Our goal at Next Step is to continue to provide experienced instructors, a great atmosphere, and a moral example for our students. We want to provide a place where parents, staff, and students interact to achieve excellence,” Stafford said. “Our new location will further help us achieve that goal.”
