Rowlett to host Annual Rowlett Noon Exchange Club Holiday Parade on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Rolling out the red carpet for Santa.

— The City of Rowlett rolls out the red carpet for Santa during this special holiday event that will be in conjunction with the Annual Rowlett Noon Exchange Club Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 21 at 10 a.m.

The day begins with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Rowlett High School class of 2013 at the Library, at 3900 Main. Get your lawn chairs ready, because at 10 a.m., the Rowlett Noon Exchange Club will present the 23rd Annual Holiday Parade from Rowlett Road to Kirby on Main Street in Rowlett.

Other festivities will be going on between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. After the parade, there will be performances by Rowlett school choirs and Santa's grand entrance by fire truck.

Bring your lawn chairs for comfortable seating during the parade, and stay to enjoy the entertainment and childrens activities. You may purchase photos of your child with Santa! It truly is a day of fun for all ages.

Also, enjoy the Old Fashioned Chili Cook-Off. This annual event is held in conjunction with the Holiday Parade and is presented by the Amateur Community Theater of Rowlett (ACTOR). For entry information, call Tom or Suzan Fulton, 972-475-4330.
