The program ranked alongside landscape architecture programs at Harvard, Cornell, Michigan, and Texas A&M University. UT Arlington tied with Cal Poly Pomona, UC Berkeley, and Illinois for 15th place in the listing.

The survey, conducted in mid-2009, tapped professional practice leaders who have had direct experience in hiring and evaluating the performance of recent architecture and design graduates.

The UT Arlington program was also cited as a program of "Notable Distinction," along with the Rhode Island School of Design, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas Tech universities.

DesignIntelligence is a bi-monthly report on the future and the repository of timely articles, original research, and industry news.
