Ferrari’s Flight in Grapevine to become Ferrari’s Flight Neighborhood Oven
GRAPEVINE On October 9, Chef Stefano Secchi will re-launch Ferrari's Flight as Ferrari's Flight Neighborhood Oven, which will feature a signature peach nectar bellini and a broader menu selection showcasing comfort foods with a contemporary twist.
Upon entering, patrons will be seated in an area that encircles a wood-burning oven where the rich aromas of BBQ, margherita or prosciutto pizza will permeate the air as they bake from the handmade focaccia crust. Nightly specials will include a Pan Fried Pork Chop, Chicken & Waffles and Braised Warm Bacon -- served with creamy mashed potatoes.
Flight Neighborhood Oven's atmosphere will invite diners into a surrounding where they can eat reasonably priced food that is familiar yet unique and/or drink at the bar where the conversation will flow as easily as the house bellinis. The indoor space will open up to an outdoor dining section that is landscaped within an immense herb garden, cascading grape trees and a Bocce Court; the al fresco experience will also include three handcrafted, locally brewed, draft beers.
"I am very excited to introduce Flight's Neighborhood Oven's menu to the dining population of Dallas/Fort Worth," said Chef Stefano Secchi. "The staff at Neighborhood Oven is looking forward to getting to know our customers and providing them with quality service and great affordable food. We hope, as time passes, it will become a favorite neighborhood haunt."
Flight's Neighborhood Oven will highlight nightly themes which are as follows:
* Monday - Monday Night Football Happy Hour Specials, which are:
$5 Peach nectar bellinis; $3.50 well drinks; $5 select martinis; $2.50 domestic beer
* Tuesday - Free Pizza with wine bottle purchase
* Wednesday - "Hump Day" Bubbly - ½ off champagne and sparkling wine bottles
* Thursday - Ladies night -- $9 pink champagne splits (20% off all food & drinks).
* Friday - 5-8 p.m. happy hour
* Saturday - DJ and/or live music
Flight Neighborhood Oven, which is connected to Ferrari's Italian Villa in Grapevine, is owned and operated by Francesco and Jane Secchi and their three sons; their combined talents and experiences have led them around the world where they have catered to the indigenous tastes of 47 nationalities.
